Jay Ducote

Jay Ducote is a chef, writer, blogger, radio host, public speaker, and overall food and beverage personality. He writes the blog Bite and Booze and has been published in magazines such as 225, Louisiana Cookin’, Louisiana Kitchen, and OffBeat as well as websites such as Louisiana Travel, Menuism, and the Huffington Post. He hosts two radio shows and podcasts in Baton Rouge, the “Bite and Booze Radio Show” and “Raise a Glass,” which focuses on the history, traditions, culture, production, and consumption of alcoholic beverages. In the summer of 2011 Jay was named one of the “Top 100 Amateur Chefs in America” as he appeared on Season 2 of MasterChef on FOX. Also in 2011 he was named one of the “Top Forty Under 40” promising community leaders by the Baton Rouge Business Report.

Jeff LeDuff

A Baton Rouge native, Jeff LeDuff has served in law enforcement for more than 30 years and served as Chief of Police for the Baton Rouge Police Department for more than five years. As Chief for BRPD, LeDuff led a department of one-thousand staff members that provided safety and protection for the City of Baton Rouge. He is a passionate advocate for youth in our local community and serves on the I CARE Advisory Council for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System – a program that provides prevention education to students in the areas of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, violence, crisis response and management. He is also a certified self-defense instructor and provides training for members of law enforcement. Chief LeDuff joined Baton Rouge General Medical Center as Chief of Security in February 2012.

Naomi Nelson

Naomi Nelson is the Director of Cardiovascular Services at Baton Rouge General. In her role, she is responsible for cardiology, vascular surgery and cardiothoracic services. A Louisiana native, Naomi has more than 17 years of experience in healthcare and cardiovascular services, and is passionate about finding innovative ways to improve healthcare delivery. She has most recently been with Vascular Specialty Center in the position of Chief Operating Officer. Naomi is a member of several national and local organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), where she has served on the board of directors and as vice president of the Greater Baton Rouge chapter. Naomi is also a member of the Baton Rouge Chamber Alumni Association and the local, state and national chapters of the Medical Group Management Association.

Dionne Viator

Dionne E. Viator serves as Baton Rouge General’s Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer. She has over twenty years of experience in health care accounting and has been at Baton Rouge General since 1993. Dionne serves on the Louisiana Hospital Association CFO Expert Panel, Louisiana Hospital Association Finance Committee, the American Heart Association Circle of Red Executive Leadership Team and many more organizations. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Baton Rouge Rehabilitation Hospital, Baton Rouge Radiology Imaging Centers, Mid City Redevelopment Alliance, Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum, and Louisiana Health Care Alliance/Louisiana Business Group on Health.

Dionne serves as the 2013 American Heart Association Chair for Go Red for Women.

Margaret Hart

Margaret Womack Hart is the wife of the late Milton J. Womack, Sr. He was a community leader, philanthropist and businessman who suffered from heart disease. In honor of her husband, Margaret vowed to be an active part in ensuring that the Baton Rouge community continues to have access to the highest caliber of heart care services. In 2007, Baton Rouge General dedicated its cardiology program to Milton by naming it the Womack Heart Center at Baton Rouge General.
